Woburn Senior Center  will be having a Diabetes Self Management Program hosted by volunteers from the Lahey Clinic.  In this program people will learn how to self manage their diabetes, figure out how to manage their lives around their diabetes, set and meet personal goals, how to read a nutrition label, and take charge of your medical appointments.

Lahey Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit group practice. Nearly 450 physicians and more than 4,000 nurses, therapists and other support staff work together to provide compassionate care and superior patient outcomes. The Clinic’s multidisciplinary approach allows patients access to preeminent physicians from virtually every medical specialty, who cooperate to develop personalized treatment plans for each patient.

This is 6 week workshop. It meets for a hour and a half each week for 6 weeks. All are welcome to attend and there is no cost.
